How does heat recovery work?

When refrigeration units remove heat from cold rooms or freezer tunnels, that heat is normally expelled outside through condensers. 

Instead, integrated climate systems capture that heat, raise its temperature and reuse it internally – essentially turning every cooling process into a heating source.
